Our History
Founded in 2007 by Michael Morgan, Hope Toys & Laughter. The DMV’s favorite charity that supports needy children and their families every year. HTL operates all year round and does not have any paid employees or professional fund raisers. 100% of the donations goes towards helping families in need.
Hope Toys & Laughter is a charitable comedy event to collect new unwrapped books and toys for children who are battered, abused, homeless, orphaned or hospitalized at Christmas. We believe that laughter is the best medicine for the soul. We host a comedy show that showcases local comic’s as well as other entertainers, we provide a catered meal with give-a-ways and a WHOLE LOTTA FUN !
Our mission is to provide hope to the hopeless while supporting children with a healthy dose of joy and happiness.

Since 2007 we have donated well over 10,000 books to children.

Since 2007 we have collected and donated well over 200,00 toys to children.
Clothing
Since 2007 we have donated clothes, coats, scarfs, shoes, gloves and more to children in need.
